Camp Pinnacle Vision Statement

Our vision is to be a safe, joy-filled camp where every camper can explore the foundational truths of Scripture and discover the beauty of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We strive to create an environment where children and teens can encounter God, play freely, laugh deeply, and grow confidently as they build trust, strengthen character, and form long-term friendships rooted in faith, encouragement, and shared experiences.


Statement of Faith/Core Beliefs

1. The Bible – We believe the Bible is the inspired, only infallible Word of God, the supreme and final authority in all matters of faith and conduct (2 Timothy 3:16,17).

2. The Triune God – We believe in one God eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (2 Corinthians 13:14).

3. Jesus Christ – We believe in His deity, virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, vicarious death and atonement through His shed blood, bodily resurrection, ascension, and present priestly ministry (Romans 1:4; Matthew 1:18; Hebrews 7:25).

4. Evangelism & Missions – We believe in evangelistic and missionary fervor and endeavor (Acts 1:8; Mark 16:15–18).

5. Salvation – We believe regeneration by the Holy Spirit is essential for salvation; we also believe in God’s keeping power (Hebrews 9:22; Jude 24,25; Titus 3:5).

6. Sanctification & Holiness – We believe sanctification, holiness, and the overcoming life are God’s design for the Church, the Bride of Christ (Ephesians 5:25–27).

7. Sexual Purity – We believe sexual purity is necessary, requiring abstinence from adultery, fornication, incest, homosexuality, and other practices forbidden by Scripture (Hebrews 13:4; 1 Corinthians 6:18; Leviticus 18:1–30; Galatians 5:19).

8. Marriage – We believe marriage is the uniting of one man and one woman in covenant commitment for a lifetime, a sacred institution established by God (Matthew 19:4–6).

9. Gender - We believe that God created mankind as two distinct sexes: male and female and that each person affirms God’s infinite wisdom by living in alignment with their birth sex. Gen 1:26-28; Matt 19:4-5

10. Human Dignity – We believe human life is of inestimable worth from conception to the grave, as created in God’s image (Genesis 1:27; Psalm 139:13–14).

11. Baptism – We believe water baptism is for believers, administered by immersion, as a witness to Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection, and to our new life in Him (Matthew 28:19; Romans 6:4).

12. Communion – We believe communion, when shared by believers, witnesses to the gospel, Christ’s presence, and looks forward to His return (1 Corinthians 11:23–26).

13. Baptism in the Holy Spirit – We believe in the baptism in the Holy Spirit as on the day of Pentecost, with continuing ministry of the Holy Spirit evidenced in charismatic gifts and the fruit of the Spirit (Acts 2:4; Acts 10:46; Acts 19:6; Ephesians 4:11; 1 Corinthians 12:8–11; Galatians 5:22,23).

14. Divine Healing – We believe divine healing is obtained on the basis of the Atonement (1 Peter 2:24; Matthew 8:17).

15. Christ’s Return – We believe in Christ’s imminent personal return in power and glory, and in His present and everlasting dominion (Acts 1:11; Revelation 1:7; Daniel 7:14).

16. Resurrection – We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost: the saved unto eternal life, the lost unto eternal punishment. (Rev 20:11-15; John 5:28-29).
